Hannah Salcudean is a first-year medical student at the University of British Columbia. Prior to medical school, she completed a Master’s in Neuroimaging and Informatics at the University of Southern California, where she worked on imaging methods to quantify brain iron deposition in hematologic conditions. Hannah previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Combined Major in Science (Computer Science, Life Sciences, and Environmental Science) at UBC. Before starting medical school, Hannah worked as a firmware engineer at Lucid Vision Labs, where she developed an interest in combining computer science and technology with medicine. Outside of school, she enjoys taking her dog, Winston, for hikes and making clay magnets.
